As per usual, this month was Halo Infinite's latest content update. Although this update is nothing out of the ordinary, it did bring some much needed "launch" updates that improve the game as a whole. On top of all of that we also got yet another official map which is a rework of a Reach favorite.
New Map: Dredge
Dredge was first released on Halo Reach and has made a return as the main course of content in this patch. Obviously, there are some changes that had to be made to accommodate Halo Infinite's sandbox. For example, there are weapon racks and equipment pads placed throughout the map.
This map thankfully comes with it's own dedicated 24/7 playlist. So, you don't need to endlessly search for this specific map.
QOL Updates
Togglable A.I
Death Cam improvements
Now rotatable
Can switch between players faster
Forge Improvements
Reactive water plane
Collapsible meus
Observation Mode improvements
Can now hear in-game announcer lines
Improved legibility with new settings
There have also been a ton of bug/glitch fixes. Which includes (not all), menus, multiplayer gameplay, custom games, customization, theater, forge, and campaign.
Now that Halo Infinite has an abundance of game modes and features, it's finally at the state that it should have been at on launch. At least with the sophisticated Forge tools, I think players will entertain themselves with their own maps and modes for a long time now, even when 343 abandons the game.
