Halo DOES NOT need a reboot!

Over the past few days, the Halo community is going on the offence against one idea that could kill the entire Halo franchise (more than 343 already has). The simple yet very dangerous theory that Microsoft is looking into rebooting the ENTIRE Halo franchise when it comes to their main titles.
That's right, there is a possibility that Bungie's original Halo trilogy would no longer be cannon moving forward. Given how both Microsoft and 343 have treated Halo throughout the past 10 years, this is a real threat.
Where did idea this come from?
The main culprit to officially voice concerns about this was an IGN insider on twitter. Here is a link to the original tweet. This isn't some fan tweet as McCaffrey has actual insider information and credibility to back the claims he makes on the industry. Aside from his credible information, another insider briefly shared their thoughts on this. He simply agreed that it can be a possibility for Halo moving forward.
I want to mention that, even though there is no (known) facts to officially back this up, it can be heard by Microsoft. The more people talk about it, the more likely Microsoft will shut the idea of a reboot down or roll with it moving forward.
Again, Halo DOES NOT need a reboot
The number one reason why this is a real threat in the first place is the misuse of the franchise for the last 10 years. 343 Industries have shown time and time again how incapable they are in making a Halo game that is on-par with Bungie.
Some Halo content creators on YouTube have also voiced their concerns for this idea of a reboot. Many having already stated that the fundamental leadership at 343 is the main culprit for Halo's gradual decline over the last 10 years.
Halo 4 sought to change both Halo lore and gunplay, at the same time, rebuilding the foundations to appeal towards a more casual Halo audience in it's own multiplayer. Halo 5 tried to ditch the Master Chief and (again) change previous lore to steer the franchise in an entirely new direction. Even if it mean that they retconned some of their own lore they already established in Halo 4. Now, Halo Infinite has yet again sought to reinvent the wheel of Halo and course correct to it's detriment. This time, using nostalgia bait to under-deliver on basic Halo features. Again, retconning their own lore they tried to scramble together for both Halo 4 and 5. All the while, redesigning the fundamentals of a Halo campaign to be open world in order to appeal to the casual audience.
The real issue
It's clear that 343 is the problem. Think about it, Microsoft is already trying to treat Halo like a multiverse with the Halo tv show and it's "silver timeline." Just because you decide to reboot the games and ditch your previous audience, that doesn't mean you are guarantied success. At the end of the day, leadership at 343 needs to be reevaluated when working on future games and where they want the franchise to be years later. Although, we are already starting to see the change at 343 in hiring developers who know what Halo needs and letting go of those who don't.
I think I can speak for Halo fans when I say, Halo does not need a reboot. Or else, Cortana may have been onto something.
"Halo, it's finished."
