FNAF Security Breach: Ruin DLC has released to some rocky fan feedback

Source: Steel Wool Studios

On July 25th, Steel Wool Studios released the long-awaited Ruin DLC pack for FNAF Security Breach. Many players in the FNAF community were excited to delve deeper into Cassie's story and see Gregory back in action. However, upon release the DLC was faced with instant backlash as the DLC itself was plagued with bugs on the PS store. Even now, players from both the Nintendo Switch and Xbox are left in the dark as it simply was never released to those systems.

PS Store Bugs

The biggest bug was the inability to buy the DLC digitally. Upon the DLC's release there was a purchase error that read "You need the following products before you can make this purchase." Obviously, fans of the game who were interested in this DLC would have already played the game on their console so this was some ui bug that has since been fixed by Steel Wool Studios.

Another identical bug was with the physical copy of the game. You would also be unable to download your copy of the DLC if you has the disk.

They never said what the exact problem was but it could have been something to do with the DLC being free. The PS store does have it's fair share of bugs in regards to digital purchases (especially free downloads).

No Release For Xbox and Switch?

As of right now, there is no confirmation on an official release date for Xbox or Switch. An update post was released July 14th to the official Steel Wool website. Stating, "As I said previously, the DLC is going to launch on PS4, PS5, and PC. The Xbox and Switch versions of the DLC will be released at a later date." (SteelWoolStudios).

This the only information that is knows to both the Xbox and Switch release. I'd expect some answers from Steel Wool Studios as they work to "polish" the DLC for Xbox and Switch.
